The house is strategically located within walking distance to the pier village, but just far enough removed to enjoy peace and privacy. The home is large and net all our family’s needs. Johanna and Gil were excellent communicators, and were wonderful and accommodating hosts. Thanks so much, guys!

We had a wonderful stay at this home. The neighborhood is highly walkable and surrounded by excellent restaurants and coffee shops. The house itself is lovely, and the three-bedroom layout provided a very comfortable space to sleep and relax. We especially enjoyed the charm of the backyard and the porch. Having the option to park in the garage was also a significant convenience. The hosts were incredible and proactive; it is evident that they have a genuine passion for their business and care deeply about the guest experience. We highly recommend this property.

This visit was my first time on St. Simon Island. The location of the house is perfect, completely in walking distance of all the local shops, restaurants and the pier. The host communication was top tier very informative and answered all my questions. The check-in and out was seamless. I loved the checkout song of choice. The Wood’s Reserve is just a cute location in a very quiet neighborhood. The back patio was relaxing for sitting around, the splash pool was surely a hot topic to cool off and the bocce ball court gave use a little competitive atmosphere. I highly recommend this booking, to include my family decided we will be coming back. Thank you again. I would like to recommend Dulce Dough to anyone who loves donuts it’s surely a hidden gem. My family and I were in town for a volleyball tournament and Johanna and Gil’s place was perfect for our needs. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable, as were the living spaces. Everything matched the descriptions and having read the previous reviews, I was also impressed with the location. The neighborhood was lovely, with plenty of restaurants/bars a short walk away.

GREAT location, the walkability to everything was perfect. Property and house were in great condition and very clean. 8 of us enjoyed this space comfortably. The hosts were very friendly, responsive, and had some great recommendations for easiest beach access, food & drinks, etc. Friendly neighborhood right along the park with baseball fields, tennis/pickle ball courts/ and a wide variety of eats. I look forward to staying at this property again the next time I am on the Island.

Excellent location, walkable to everything and on a beautiful, quiet, friendly street. Prompt and friendly communication, easy check in and check out procedures. Our group had a wonderful weekend and especially enjoyed the nearby parks and walkability to everything we wanted to see!

We stayed at Joanna and Gil's over the weekend. The house was beautiful; well-furnished, peaceful, comfortable and within walking/short driving distance to everything. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. My 3 year old loved the 'sous chef' cabinet in the kitchen--what a clever idea! I appreciated the kid-friendy accommodations. Bunk-beds and step-stools, yes! And everyone enjoyed the chalkboard table. I also loved how everything was labeled. It was very helpful during our short stay. The tip about the 5th street beach was wonderful--it really felt like private beach access. The beds and pillows were comfy, there were plenty of clean towels and linens, and the adults enjoyed the fun sphere ice cubes for our drinks in the evening. Gil and Joanna were excellent hosts, very helpful and responsive!

This house was AMAZING! Johanna and Gil had the house stocked with anything you could need. The location is perfect and walkable to everything! Will definitely be staying here again!
